youtube and twitch limits the audio so most people don’t know the actual raw volume of the jernuke. if you download the video from youtube and play it in a DAW you can hear just how fucking insanely loud it is

I love that it sounds like a bomb breaking through his ceiling and exploding the second he notices it.

He has god-given comedic timing like he's a tragic Greek figure. Whatever is funniest is what will happen to him.

"That fuckin' hurt, BIG TIME." Went straight into my lexicon the first time I saw it. Makes me cry laughing every time.

He's now permanently sensitive to loud sounds too

someone pointed out that the first bang was probably the in-game audio nuke from his headphones that got picked up on his mic, half a second before it played on stream. I wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely got some hearing damage from this 😭

I love how peacefully he’s playing dmc, he’s just quietly playing it he’s not struggling nor is he trying all that hard, no boss fight but also no cutscenes either and then out of nowhere lol. Like there couldn’t have been a more perfect moment to strike than at that time.

only jerma could have some bullshit like this happen to him and have his reaction genuinely be "that hurt big time!"

The way he says "OH MY-" right before the huge noise makes it seem like he got killed by it it is SO FUCKING FUNNY

Deadass, seeing this a few years ago made me watch him soon after and then I realized he's just like this. Currently what stays stuck in my head is the more recent stuff where he was talking about really wanting a beef stew or to eat a giant piece of mutton in one hand.
