I never “counted the cost” to follow Jesus when I first got saved. I just knew I was dead in sins, with no hope, and on the way to hellfire. I believed the gospel! And, there is a cost to follow Jesus.

Post the truth and count the cost. Let them hate you. Let them unfriend you. Let them block you. Let them mock you. The world hated Christ before it ever hated you. John 15:18 says the servant is not above his Master. If you keep quiet to keep friends, you have already chosen them over Him. Christ is King! 🙌 There is no other way to the Father! 🙌 Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). Not by good works. Not by a sincere heart. Not by another name. Salvation is in His blood alone, or it is not salvation at all. Acts 4:12 leaves no second road. Repent! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Open your mouth and tell what He has spoken, whether they stay or depart from you.

Dear Lord, Gracious Father, how good it is when Christian sisters and brothers live and grow with each other, and in love with the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank You for everyone in our families, our church’s and our “X” community for all the great friendships that have developed between us. Let us be gentle and kind with one another that we may look for the good in each other, in word and deed. We offer our friendships to You for Your holy use, through our prayers and the blessing of Your Spirit. Keep us from all petty arguments that can so often destroy the loving and gracious fellowship that You desire of all Your children. Bind us together in love, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and give each of us the gifts and graces that are needed as You see fit, so we may minister to each other as we unite together to worship You. Jesus was not kidding. He said they have eyes and will not see. They have ears and will not hear. Look at this world. Screens never stop. Voices never stop. Pictures of war, sermons, scandals, and soft religion pour in every hour. Still the heart stays shut. Still the soul pretends it doesn't know. Matthew 13:15 says this people’s heart has grown dull. Their ears can hardly hear. They have closed their eyes. God is still speaking. Christ still calls. The Word is still sharp. Stop pretending you cannot see. Stop acting like you cannot hear. Repent. Turn from the noise. Obey the Son while there is still time. The Judge is coming, and He will not ask what you scrolled. He will ask what you did with the truth He already gave you.

Whether people want to admit it or not, we are in a spiritual war. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the forces of darkness. This battle is not against ordinary people. It is a battle between truth and deception, righteousness and evil, light and darkness. Put on the whole armor of God. Stand firm. Do not bow. Do not fear.
