Dreamt it - Lived it - Loved it!
I’ve made the decision to retire from the Kilkenny senior hurling team. For more than half of my life I had the honour of playing with Kilkenny through minor, U21 and senior. I’ve been lucky to be part of some incredible teams and to play

I want to wish Henry and his backroom team the very best of luck. I have no doubt Kilkenny will be back. The team has gained a massive supporter.
To all coaches, backroom teams, medical staff, and kit men, I cannot thank you enough

for the endless hours.
A special mention to my great friend and mentor Brother Damien Brennan (RIP). Your guidance allowed me to perform at levels I did not believe were possible. I am now a better person because of you.
It is hard to describe the bond you create with

teammates when you spend five days a week together, all trying to achieve the same goal. To every player I had the honour of playing alongside, the journey would not have been as enjoyable without you. Above all, I hope to be remembered as a good teammate.

To my parents, Paddy, and Bridget - I hope all those endless trips around the country were worth it in the end. Your support on the hardest days is what I appreciated more than anything; you always had my back. Of all my achievements and accolades, the one I am most proud of is

representing you on the same field with my brothers Alan and Shane. I can only imagine the immense sense of pride you felt having three sons play for Kilkenny.
My stubbornness and toughness definitely came from playing against my siblings at home. Thank you so much for all
