Ok, I lied. Here's the last Tork bit.
Of all players in MLB who had 60+% of their plate appearances hitting 6th or lower, Tork hit the most HR and drive in the most RBI
In short, he was the most productive hitter in the lower half of the lineup in all of baseball @tigers #DNMW
So. I've got it for you.
Torkelson ranks 1st in HRs this year, 25th since 2015 (Joey Gallo is 1st). He ranks 1st in RBIs this year, tied for 26th since 2015 (Euengio Suarez is first).
Euengio Suarez hit 30 bombs and drove in 101 with 82% of his PA in 6-9 spots back in 2024!

I know I am opening myself up to something.. but I am really hopeful that the Tigers will keep Torkelson for 2027 if there is a season. He is better than the metrics show and I think he deserves to stay with the team. Go ahead and roast me if you wish. #DNMW

Tigers.. grit all over. JV was amazing and gave it all to be able to give to his family now. Valencia gave his all to get JV and Tigers a win, series win from the Pirates. Not the season we all wanted, but there is still grit and life in this team. Hope most get the chance in 27
