That’s a wrap on Vegas. 🎲✌️ The new repave definitely brought its own set of challenges. We worked hard all week but things didn’t quite play out the way we had hoped in the end. Came home 8th in a stacked 25-car field. Feels like we’ve taken a few hits on the chin this year, but the seasons not over yet and I’m not done fighting. We’ll learn what we can from it and keep moving forward. Just feeling grateful for all the folks that help us get here week in, and week out. We’ve got a couple races left to go out and get the job done. Just need to execute on the little things and the rest will come. Dang it! That one’s gonna sting for a few days. 🤕 Had a blast searching for grip across all three lanes last night as we drove from the back to the front. Felt like a dirt track (from what I’d imagine) with how much the lanes were changing, and by the end, we were pushin’ the cushion! With 8 to go, it looked like we were gonna steal ourselves another clean podium finish when the yellow flew. Unfortunately, we got moved, then spun on the following restart, and the car wouldn’t fire back up, leaving us stranded. Wound up 15th, two laps down. Went from a solid points night to a season points killer. 🥲 Just heartbroken for our guys after all the work they put in to find the speed we needed this weekend. We had a similar deal happen at Vegas last year, so this one definitely hurts. Driver and team came over to apologize. We’ll learn what we can from it and move on. Well… we pulled into the airport just in time to find out our flight to this weekend’s @ARCA_Racing race had been canceled. And unfortunately, there’s no other flight that’ll get us there in time for the race. So… looks like we’re driving! 😅 See you soon, Roseville.
