LA-based multimedia artist Kiani Wish has crafted the stunning awards for this year's ESMoA Video Art + Film Festival. Kiani Wish is a multimedia artist and Art Director whose work explores behavior as symbolism through identity, illustration, and public installation.

We hosted a soundwalk with Brittney Franco: after archives intro we drew prompts, walked Lawndale and captured sounds and Polaroids near ESMoA, building archive and awareness. Thanks to local businesses, community, and Brittney.

Join ESMoA’s soundwalk with artist Brittney Franco, a workshop resisting cultural erasure by recording personal/community stories through sound and place. After a brief intro on archives, we’ll set off with listening prompts to reflect on memory, absence, and belonging.

Artist Oscar Arellano returns to ESMoA for a new fabric-art workshop. Learn textile design from sketching an original pattern to cutting and stitching with hands-on guidance from Oscar. You'll leave with basic stitching skills and a handmade patch to personalize anything.
