imo idk call it intuition or feeling but we see some power play from pump who might feel they need to play like binance and start brining back market share and killing competition
2 weeks might be too aggressive but I just dont want to be kept offside the next time it goes 25% in a day (which it has a few times), doesn't mean you need to hold to expiry, I mostly sell mine into vol regardless

rn two verticals i like a lot: options + perp prop firms
took deeper look into retail prop firms and apparently these guys have been trading futures and not perps for years, i expect perp addiction to grab them and never let go + onboard tons of retail traders to hype. also being onchain w verifiable payouts / funds is step up from offchain blackbox.
on the ct side, every small port is trying to make it in the trenches, i can see evals being a massive hook for crypto degens with small ports
breakout hypernova propr seem to be top perp ones, nova + propr being onchain but nova in private beta so couldn’t use it. propr only one i can find with confirmed token + points program with a legit doxxed team making content daily.
prop firms are a very overlooked segment by ct but retail loves these + perp oneshot = great business good token if execution and scale continues.
if i could just buy their tokens and do nothing else i would, but only way to get exposure rn is ripping challenges afaik
just hoping they tge soon with or without a private raise. imo propr token is going to bang heavy if they dont get complacent and nail distro. a prop firm will be one of top rev gen projects on hl when they hit escape velocity
options im looking at who is prioritizing retail focused + short dated liquidity + range of assets / who gets “it”
who can reach retail, who knows what traders want these days, who ships fast

I know many people who became onchain legends and started out hustling any way they could to grow their bag
imo there are way more paths now than there were back then
endless opportunities here if you have enough drive to get to the bag

you have so many tools at your disposal rn when it comes to creating content and getting distribution on tik tok / ig reels (i wouldnt even focus on X)
either go on fiver and hire like 20 people to sit on tik tok and spin general crypto meme pages up with a ref link in bio to “insert project you want to farm or earn here”
or just do it yourself
crypto projects have never had the ability to capitalize on mass distribution until now (app store was anti crypto, onboarding was hard, no retail appetite)
tik tok and ig reels especially because you need no following to go viral, one viral vid semi related to whatever ref your pushing will convert somewhat, rinse and repeat
genuinely so easy

that being said, i found hype in 23 off needing a place to trade friend perps and i think options have a similar breakout (been saying for a min)
imo we see a tradfi <-> crypto swap of perps <-> options
eventually a lot of the shills and token pumps rn will stop and product needs to take center stage
we aren’t in 2023 anymore, space is different
distribution is everything rn and imo leaving others to build and distro your exchange while passively marketing and expecting builders to execute will lose to the scrappy team who is able to do both: liquidity and distribution themselves
i see it similar to the sportsbooks that spent years getting a gaming license just to see poly prize picks underdog etc of the world pass them by
there is no hyperliquid of this cycle
you will miss a lot of good stuff if you compare everything to an anomaly of a company both in crypto and outside
there is a lot of room between 0 and 20B
