And we’re back! Cohort #1 had a fantastic adventure at Riverwood this weekend, exploring forests and fields. They were lucky enough to watch a Praying Mantis shed its final instar skin and emerge as an adult. There were also some very cooperative toads.

Our Mini Naturalists were soaking up the sun at Riverwood today for their first meeting of our spring session. We looked for animal signs, signs of spring, squished through the mud, splashed in puddles and enjoyed hiding seeds like a squirrel. It was a gorgeous day ☀️

SOS is concerned about the SRSR motion requesting 25 years of disaggregated tri-council data. While we understand the data is intended to be anonymized, this wasn't explicitly stated in the motion – and the specific information requested could still enable #SupportOurScience

Are you a carnivore, omnivore or herbivore? Cohort #1 discovered that they have some incredible instincts for survival today. We visited Mountsberg Conservation Area for a trip into their Spooky Forest and hoped we wouldn’t get eaten or taken out by humans or natural disasters.
