Amaterasu by Solstice review. (The mousepad has been provided by @solsticepads, thoughts are my own) Information about the pad: - Price: TBA - Size: 490x420x1.5mm - Surface: Smooth, coated, speed-oriented with decent stopping power - Base: TBA (My pre-production unit uses rubber base) TL;DR (For the lazy): Amaterasu is Solstice's first glass pad, in collaboration together with Pika (@pikapikacolala), and it's actually really solid. It's fast, but not in that extreme speed pad way, more like a fast glide that still lets you control your aim properly. Stopping power feels way better than on most smooth glass pads, and small movements feel smooth and responsive. If you want something quick but still usable for actual aiming, this one is worth keeping an eye out for when it releases. Design: Solstice cooking with the artwork as usual. Colors, art, and clarity are all on point, it will stand out and pop on any desk. Surface/Glide: The mousepad is fast and smooth, but it is not going for that ultra speed title, as stopping power is where this pad shines. Pressure doesn't slow it down much, but the coating helps with stopping the mouse where you want it without feeling floaty. Flicking into targets is way easier than on most smooth glass pads I've used, and I have gotten used to it very quick. Final thoughts: For Solstice's first glass pad, they delivered on fast glide without sacrificing control. It doesn't feel like a rushed first attempt at all. The quality feels solid, the surface is smooth and consistent, and the stopping power is better than most glass pads I've used. A great choice if you're into glass pads but want something that's not just "fastest glide possible".

Our cloth pad collection with a.t. cham is almost here and we honestly could not be more proud of how it has come together. If you have been following along, you already know this one is special. Once cloth is done, we are moving into glass. And yes, Wataboku is coming back. We know a lot of you have been waiting for that one and we hear you. And then somewhere between late this year and early next, we have a surprise glass pad that we are not ready to talk about just yet. But trust us, it is worth the wait. We are just getting started.
