The global shock is African, but the size of the damage is country-specific.

He is richest who is content with the least, for content is the wealth of nature. (Socrates) In a world that constantly tells us we need more perhaps real wealth is learning to appreciate what we already have Ambition matters but so does contentment.

This Nepalese situation is yet another demonstration that if a society cannot provide the right kind of incentives to behave productively, no amount of technical infrastructure can save it from climate change.

We talk every day, text all day, follow thousands of people… but somehow many of us still feel alone.

A medical professional advised me to walk at least 4km every day and honestly, I want to do it. But with work, responsibilities and everything life demands, finding that time is harder than it sounds

We live in a society where people care too much about how things look but not enough about how people actually feel. Everyone is trying to prove something, judging others and hiding their own struggles. Honestly we just need to be more human to each other

Funny how people think you don’t notice… when you actually noticed everything

Honestly imagine a country with no political parties just leaders competing on ideas, competence and results. Maybe we’d finally debate solutions instead of constantly defending teams. Or would that be too much to ask?

Lately, I’ve been scared to start something because I’m not sure I’ll stay consistent with it. I don’t want to start with so much excitement then lose the energy halfway through. Maybe I’m overthinking it but can anyone relate?

Democracy is funny. Everyone gets a voice but somehow only the powerful get heard.

John Locke once said where law ends, freedom also gets lost. a government is meant to protect people’s rights not silence them. when people feel unheard for too long tension grows. Justice is what keeps a nation stable 📌

I repeat, a day is coming when millions of Ugandans will have nothing left to lose but the burdens they carry in a life stripped of dignity and opportunity. History has shown that oppression does not extinguish resistance, it nourishes it. Every citizen you wound leaves behind a family, friends, and a community that shares in that pain. Every scar inflicted on one individual is multiplied across countless hearts, transforming grief into resentment, resentment into resolve, and resolve into the courage to confront what once seemed untouchable. No government should mistake silence for surrender or patience for weakness. The accumulation of injustice is like gathering dry tinder, eventually, a single spark is enough to ignite a fire that cannot be contained. It is no longer a question of if, but when. And that moment appears closer than many are willing to admit.📌
