Yesterday evening in my local @coopuk I was shocked to see shelf loads of bread and pastries being chucked into a bin bag to be thrown out! I was told by the assistant that if the local charity didn’t come to collect them, then they’d be thrown out.

Please @coopuk there are hungry people out there. Can’t you do a scheme where you invite local people to come and collect free bread a the end of the day if it’s available? Or sell these items at the very lowest price you can ie 20 pence?
