If this report is true, it means we are using U.S. troops to escort oil tankers through the SOH, where oil had been flowing freely before we started this disastrous war of choice at the behest of the Israelis.
This a reckless and frivolous gamble with American lives, which we are foolishly opting to put at risk—not to thwart active terrorist threats to the homeland, but as an attempt to mitigate the damage we inflicted on ourselves & the global economy.
Attaching U.S. military personnel to civilian ships makes those ships legitimate targets. This increases the threat level for all vessels and adds an even risker layer of complexity to the already challenging conditions we created in the SOH.
It’s time to walk away now. End this war—any effort to use military force to secure a “win” will not have a meaningful lasting impact. It’s not worth the cost to our troops or inviting further escalation in this foolish war.

Israel is setting the conditions for chaos in Syria, which will undoubtedly result in a resurgence of ISIS/AQ.
To prevent this, and to stop all Israeli aggression, the U.S. must restrain the Israelis by cutting off all aid. Israel’s actions are sabotaging U.S. interests in the region, full stop.
If Israel conducts attacks in Syria, Sharaa will be forced to either respond & then be targeted by Israel, or face hostility from his base of hardline Sunnis. This is an un-winnable situation for Sharaa, and for us.
Let me be clear: I do not support Sharaa nor am I happy to see him in power, or at the White House for that matter. But we put him in power and legitimized his presidency, and now we have to deal with the consequences and navigate the fallout if it goes wrong.
If Sharaa gets killed or is militarily challenged, ISIS will come back and the U.S. will get sucked right back into Syria.
I remain wary of Sharaa because of his past. But the chaos that will ensue if he is removed is far more dangerous for us now than if he had never been brought to power in the first place.

Kushner met with Netanyahu today for four hours, and he came out saying the US would back further military action in Gaza. Oh, so an Israeli goes to talk to an Israeli about how America should fund more genocide in Gaza on behalf of Israel. How fucking convenient.
Who the fuck is Jared Kushner? He has no official role in the US government. Why is he promising our money to his favorite country on earth? Why is he giving guarantees on behalf of the American people that we'd love to fund more genocide? Who the fuck is in control of our government?!
