Prediction of what is coming down the tracks with Rupert Lowe worth, a wager down at Paddy power ๐
To my supporters, colleagues, and everyone who has stood with me:
After a great deal of thought, I have decided to stand down. There is little point in continuing along the current path. We cannot realistically compete with Reform UK. As much as it pains me to say it, the numbers and the political reality are clear.
Reform has built a national organisation, a recognisable brand, and a level of support that smaller efforts simply cannot match at this stage. Trying to fight them for the same voters only splits the patriotic vote and makes it easier for the parties that have already failed this country to stay in power. We have no realistic chance of winning over large numbers of their supporters, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
I therefore ask you to put your energy behind Reform UK and help get them over the line. Do the right thing for the country rather than for any single personality or small group. Nigel Farage and Reform remain the only vehicle with a serious prospect of delivering the change so many of us want: control of our borders, an end to the managed decline of the last two decades, and a government that puts the interests of the British people first.
I will now step back from front-line campaigning and concentrate on my family and my own wellbeing. The last few years have been demanding, and it is time to restore some balance. Thank you sincerely for your past support, your time, your donations, and your belief that things can be better. That support meant a great deal.
Let us now get behind Nigel and Reform, work together, and try to get the country back on track. The alternative is more of the same failure we have already seen.
