I could have seen this coming a mile away.

Well, let’s be honest. It IS a hostile act by Canadians. Honestly, The sheer arrogance with which Canadians flaunt this fantasy of eventually replacing the US with the EU, safe in the certainty of CUSMA’s ongoing protection, is utterly astounding. Forget that our fellow Canadians are losing everything as we cheer “nah nah nah nah nah, take THAT Trump”, forget that CUSMA can be cancelled with 6 months notice by any party - a big risk once the US and Mexico complete the last of their negotiations on a Bi-lateral trade agreement - which they are about to do. Forget that this EU bombshell is likely to catalyze Alberta and Quebec separation movements like never before. Forget that the ONLY one who appears to be “winning” right now, is Mark Carney. All that matters is that we alone know what Patriotism means, right? Elbows Up
