Months of creativity, practice and hard work are about to take centre stage! ✨ Our #DICE creative students in Rwamwanja are preparing to graduate, and they’re getting ready to give us a glimpse of what they’ve been working on. We can’t wait to see their talents come to life in their showcase! 👏🏽🎭 Thanks @Ulkoministerio for the support.

A new skill can be the beginning of a new livelihood. Through the Refugee and Host Community Youth Empowerment and Transformation Initiative, Grace Atimaku learned baking and confectionery skills. She later accessed a loan through a youth savings and loans association, which she used to buy a locally made oven and start her home-based bakery. This #WorldFoodDay, Grace shares her simple homemade cupcake recipe that is helping her earn an income. Would you try her recipe at home? #YoungAfricaWorks #WorldFoodDay26

“I know the pain of struggling alone.” After rebuilding her life in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement, Micheline turned her hairdressing skills into a business that now helps other women learn and earn. Through the RETI project, @fca_uganda, in partnership with @Muni_University and with support from @MastercardFdn, helped Micheline gain the skills to start and grow her business. Learning new skills, one lesson at a time. 💻 Through the #ITEME Project, refugee youth are gaining practical computer skills as part of their training, helping them become more confident in using technology for their studies and future work.

Today, we celebrate every teacher making a difference across Uganda. Happy #WorldTeachersDay!

FCA Uganda is participating in the Safeguarding Training alongside #RETI partners, including @Muni_University, @DCAUganda & other partners. Together, we’re strengthening our knowledge and commitment to creating safer spaces, preventing harm, and ensuring everyone is protected and treated with dignity. #RETI, supported by @MastercardFdn, creates opportunities for refugee and host community youth through skills and employment.

A good learning experience also means having space to talk about how you feel. Students under the #ITEME project, supported by @KeplerHQ, are taking part in a mental health awareness session, creating space to talk, listen and learn about their wellbeing.

Different backgrounds, different stories, one space to connect. 🌍✨ Every month at FCA’s Solutions Hub, Spark Friday brings participants from diverse backgrounds together to connect, share experiences and celebrate the richness of our diversity. Here’s a glimpse of what Spark Friday is all about! 🎥

Happy to be part of the Uganda Program Communications Community of Practice Convening, 2026! When communities come together to understand the challenges around them, they can find solutions that strengthen peace. Through the Peacebuilding and Climate Action project, @FCA_Uganda, in partnership with @ProspectIni and @Ulkoministerio, are addressing the links between climate change and conflict in Kasese District and Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. Together, we are supporting communities to build peace and respond to climate-related challenges. #InternationalDayOfPeace #PeaceDay2026
