honestly in general i'm not a fan of when games take fan mythos and make them into real, downloadable, tangible things. it's like if nintendo made missingno or ghost into real pokemon you could just use normally.

this is just personal preference but idk i love the vibe oldschool playground rumors had before decompiling and modding and all that was so accessible and easy. i think adding playground rumors to the game for real takes away the joy of them being rumors!

as much as i’ve enjoyed aether mods, it’s a very barebones idea and it’s pretty clear it started as a rumor rather than an actual, like, concept for a whole dimension. the sift (?) looks way more fresher out and i’m excited to see how it connects to everything

i really think more people need to remember headcanons are not canon and that's kind of the point. why do so many people try to insist headcanons are canon nowadays?? it's ok to like non-canon material guys. that's the point of fandom.

i'm just so annoyed by how many things people will call "canon" and in reality these things are actually coded, implied, or full on fanon. and it's ok if you like them still!! i have loads of fully fanon headcanons i love!! but they're not. canon. words mean things!
