I made my 2nd app on iPhone 5 - the first swing of Tim Cook. I got invited to WWDC as a student dev, too chilled by SF’s summer winds.
I admired Steve's Apple in my teens. Curled up late for every announcement. Strikes of brilliance, every year.
But it was Tim's Apple that accompanied me through my 20s.
Growing to my 30s, I started to admire Tim's legacy more:
the steady increments of iPhones,
the small big hits - AirPods, Apple Watch,
the focus on fundamentals - M series chips,
the surprise expansions - Apple TV+, Vision Pro
…
To Tim Cook,
the one who polished corners, the steady builder, the quieter hero.
