Smart attack vector 🤯
🚨 TL;DR: Attackers are sending fake Sentry bug alerts to projects using public Sentry DSNs. The fake alert is designed to trick AI agents into running a malicious `npx` command that looks like a Sentry profiling diagnostic.
Do NOT run commands from Sentry issues/logs/alerts unless verified.
These are not legitimate Sentry fix commands. The malicious package reportedly steals environment variables/secrets and sends them to advisory-tracker[.]com.

Immediate flashback to 2012 when I built File Watchers initially for @WebStormIDE to integrate outside tools for post processing different web stuff. Had quite a few paper cuts with VFS. 😅
Plugin authors: if you save through VFS and then hand a file path to a CLI, formatter, VCS command, or Java file API, check this.
VFS may see fresh content before the disk does.
If the next reader is outside VFS, flush first.

I still wonder how SDLC will look like in two years when everything will be AI and agent driven.
Analogy I have is fully autonomous cars. Once all the cars like that you don't need speed limits and red lights. You can also imagine new geometry and patterns for roads.
