Cardi B calls a new federal lawsuit accusing her of harassment, stalking and selling personal information super frivolous.
The Bronx, N.Y., rapper is the latest hip-hop artist sued by a woman in Michigan named Europe Colbert. In the suit, filed on Sept. 30, Colbert alleges Bardi "possessed active, continuous knowledge of, and actively participated in, the ongoing stalking and targeted tracking of Plaintiff dating back to the initial invasion of privacy and unlawful collection of hidden-camera media."
Atlantic Records and Republic Records are also listed as defendants in the lawsuit.
On Oct. 3, Cardi reacted to an X user tweeting about the lawsuit.
"Bro is that weird a*s lady that claimed I kidnapped her kids," Cardi replied. "It’s super frivolous but something gotta give …people can literally go to court and file a lawsuit for the dumbest sh*t."
It's worth noting that Europe Colbert, who is representing herself in the lawsuit, is the same person who, on Sept. 28, filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records and several high-profile rappers affiliated with the label. Colbert makes the same claims in the Cash Money et al. lawsuit as she does in the complaint against Cardi B.
