YOUR FAV BAND DOESN'T OWE YOU SHIT. THEY DON'T OWE YOU SONGS OR ALBUMS OR SHOWS & THEY ESPECIALLY DON'T OWE YOU ANY PARTICULAR GENRE. THEY ARE NOT YOUR EMPLOYEES. IF AN ARTIST'S MUSIC CHANGES & YOU DON'T LIKE IT I AM SORRY. NO ONE DID ANYTHING TO YOU SWEETHEART I PROMISE IT'S OK

not necessarily, but close. i posted this after seeing someone criticize their sound's evolution *from the perspective of a fan whom the band should be listening to but are egotistical to care* i do want to put pencils in my eardrums when i hear their new music though
