We're working on a launch mode built specifically for builders on Float. Nothing is final, and we want your input before we build it. Here's what we're thinking: - Launches only through the Float site, to keep third-party scripts from abusing it - A bigger share of trading fees for the dev - Dev fees held for the first 24-48 hours, then released as long as the project hasn't rugged and the dev is still actively building - If the dev rugs, their fees go to the airdrop and $FLOAT buyback and burn instead - Dev supply locked at launch, with the dev choosing how long - A tag and filters on the site, so builder launches are easy to find and easy to tell apart from normal launches We'd love to hear from you: 1. Should anyone be able to use it, or should projects apply first? 2. How should fees be split between the dev, holders, the airdrop and buybacks? 3. How long should dev supply and dev fees be locked? 4. What should count as a rug, and as actively building? 5. What would you need to see from a project to trust it as a builder launch? Before we push a big update like this, we want to hear from the community first. We believe the best ideas for Float come from the people launching and trading on it every day.

The next Float airdrop is set. Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM CST. This round goes to the top 250 traders, up from 100 last time, so more of you get paid. Same as before, it's split by volume and paid in USDC directly to your wallet. The more eligible volume you trade, the bigger your share. Volume counts from the first airdrop's snapshot on November 4 at 11:00 AM CST, so everything you've traded since then already counts. Bots and wash trading aren't eligible, and the list is reviewed before it's sent, so it goes out shortly after the snapshot. Check your rank at floatlaunch.xyz/analytics

The first Float airdrop is complete: $127,571 in USDC sent directly to the top 100 traders. Float is only what its community makes it. Every trade, every launch and every holder is what built this platform, and half of the fees the program splits goes right back to traders and holders. The people who build Float should have a say in how it rewards them, so before we announce the next airdrop, we want to hear from you. 1. How often should airdrops happen? Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or something else? 2. Who should they reward? Top 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 traders, every trader, or something else? 3. How should the airdrop be divided? Purely by volume, so the biggest traders always get the biggest share? Or by volume with a max per wallet, so more of the pot reaches everyone else? One thing that's already set: volume for the next airdrop counts from the first airdrop's snapshot on November 4 at 11:00 AM CST. Eligible volume you've traded since then already counts. We already have some ideas in mind, but we'd love to hear the community's thoughts first. Reply with your answers and anything else you'd change, and we'll read through them before making the official announcement. Thank you to everyone building Float with us.

New update: dev buys on the Float launch form are now capped at 3% of supply Until now, a dev could buy as much of their own coin as their wallet allowed, at the lowest price, before anyone else had a chance The cap only covers that first buy at launch. Once a coin is live, devs can buy more like anyone else, at the same market price, alongside everyone else 3% still lets a dev take a real stake, while the other 97% stays open at launch The form also shows exactly how much supply your SOL gets you before you launch floatlaunch.xyz

We just sent out the first airdrop in Float's history. $127,500 USDC, straight to the wallets of our top 100 traders. No claim page. No forms. No points to convert. The money simply showed up. Every payment is on chain and listed at floatlaunch.xyz/airdrops, so you don't have to take our word for any of it. I want to talk about why this matters to us. Crypto has a strange habit. A platform launches, traders show up, and those traders create everything: the volume, the attention, the memes, the culture, the reason anyone cares in the first place. They pay fee after fee, through green days and brutal ones. Some of these platforms go on to make hundreds of millions of dollars. And the people who built all of that get told to wait. Wait for the token. Wait for the season. Wait for the announcement. "Wen airdrop" became a joke in this space because the waiting became normal. People stopped expecting anything back from the platforms they made rich, and honestly, that's the saddest part. We don't think it has to be that way. On Float, 35% of every fee goes to traders. It sits in a vault, gets converted to USDC, and goes back to the people whose volume created it. Another 35% buys back and burns FLOAT. Holders get 15%, paid in the asset their coin is paired with. Creators get 5%. None of that depends on us being in a generous mood. It's how the platform was built from day one. This isn't a shot at anyone. We're not here to pick fights or tear other teams down, and there's plenty of room in this space for everyone building something. We just want to show there's another way to do this. Because the airdrop is only part of what we care about. Ask anyone who's been trading memecoins for a while and they'll tell you the same thing: it stopped being fun. You find a coin you like, you buy it, and then you find out someone scooped up 20% of the supply at a $3K market cap and has been waiting for you to arrive. So people stopped holding. They stopped believing. Every chart became a trap to escape instead of something to be part of. That's a big reason every coin on Float starts at a $20K market cap. Grabbing 20% of a coin at $3K costs around $600. At $20K, it costs at least $4,000. We can't make bundling disappear and we won't pretend we can, but we can make it far more expensive, and we can make holding worth something, with real assets paid out to holders along the way. That's the environment we're trying to build. One where you can hold a coin without feeling like the exit. One where you can top blast again because you actually believe in what you're buying. One where the people who show up every day get something back for it. Today was the first step, not the finish line. Thank you to everyone who traded, launched, held, and believed in this before there was anything to point to. This is the first one. It won't be the last.

Leaderboard update before today's airdrop Trades made through @fomo weren't being credited to the traders. Fomo pays the network fee for its users, and our system was giving that volume to Fomo's wallet instead of yours. That's fixed. Every past trade has been recounted and credited to the wallet that actually made it. 31 Fomo traders are now in the top 100. Snapshot: today at 11:00 AM CST Top 100 traders by volume get paid from the vault, pro rata Check your rank on floatlaunch.xyz

Float update 🌊 Every coin launched on floatlaunch.xyz now gets a contract address ending in "fLoat" → Works on every pair: stocks, SOL and tokens → Dev buy still lands in the same transaction as the launch → Coins already launched keep their current CA and aren't affected Heads up: the "fLoat" ending comes from launching on our site. Coins launched through third-party tools or scripts that call the program directly still get a regular CA Also shipped behind the scenes: → Moved to a bigger dedicated server built to handle our growth → Security hardening across the launch flow and our servers → Upgraded launch transactions so every pair fits in one transaction → Extra safety checks on holder rewards payouts → Price protection on $FLOAT buys from our buyback wallet Launch yours today.
