My only issue with Flowery is the way the fandom treats him and his dynamic with Ralsei, rather than Flowery himself
People putting him in this genuine mentor role, and that "actually everything he did and say was correct" just rubs me the wrong way (1/2)
I think the reason I don't connect to Flowery nearly as much as most Deltarune fans is that I dislike the “being shitty to someone in a reverse psychology way to teach them a lesson” trope being treated as a genuinely good way to help someone
