Last year, I imported a new-old-stock Rotring 800 2mm from a small stationery shop in Japan The rarer black version has always been much harder to find (and way more expensive!) But last week a nice lady in Georgia sold me hers for a steal Brothers reunited!

Motion design might be cooked but no studio will accept a monolithic Three.js file that no one can actually understand or edit! Sentinel breaks everything up into scenes with their own custom interfaces and exports high resolution png sequences ready for production

The Nike app's card blur is so bad It doesn't improve contrast enough to allow white text labels, it's the wrong size, the falloff is sharp and ugly, etc. Human-made design slop

Great scale animations start with being deliberate about your view’s anchorPoint Choosing where something grows from and shrinks back to is what creates continuity and makes the motion feel natural and connected

Built some Jev-powered capability into Treeo If the request doesn't come back within 750ms I just run the "otherwise" path so the user doesn't even perceive a hiccup. But I'm seeing avg roundtrip times of ~250ms Faster than an on-device model for classification!

Figured out what was bothering me about the design of the Codex effort popup The › caret after “Ultra” implies clicking it lets you change the effort level since that's where the caret is attached, but no! That's how you change the model So why put the caret there?
