This entire family incestuous as hell!!! In a lot of ways to me it feels more dismal than the incest in ASOIAF because the way verity, burrich, and fitz are all enmeshed together is so wrong for reasons that nobody in story can recognize. In ASOIAF characters at least recognize
"fitz only loved the fool like a brother the same as he loved nighteyes" well then you certainly don't want to hear my takes on fitz and nighteyes or family dynamics in rote
