👷♂️Workers are busy getting our new Prosper Center North main building ready for Open Enrollment in November. Meanwhile, we are also working to honor the history of the previous owner, St. Mark UMC. Austin Cut Glass began installing stained glass from the church into windows.

September is #HungerActionMonth, but at Foundation Communities, our Healthy Food Pantry program fights food insecurity for our neighbors in the Austin area year round. This program is open to the public, and as you'll see in this video, visitors say it's a pleasant experience!

Today, our 17 on-site Learning Centers are continuing to open for Afterschool Program. The process actually started last week. Day one at our Laurel Creek Learning Center, of course, included a healthy meal and snacks and fitness activities.

Students at Norman Commons are set for school thanks to our partnership with Greater Mt Zion Church. Volunteers from the church hosted the first Supper Club for this new community last week. Along with pizza and snacks they served up backpacks + supplies, music and video games.

Construction is underway on The Bloom at Lamar Square, an affordable apartment community we are building in partnership with Mary Lee Foundation.
The Bloom will have a total of 101 apartments—including studio/single-adult and multi-bedroom options.
