Costco is putting its members first with their latest move.
The wholesale chain is set to get $184 million back in tariff refunds and says most of that money is going straight into lowering prices.
CEO Ron Vachris says Costco is cutting prices on everyday items including produce, meat, and beverages, along with home furnishings and hardware.
The $184 million includes $174 million in refunds and $10 million in interest, and Costco says that's only a little more than one-third of the total refunds it expects to receive.
The retailer says it plans to keep reinvesting the majority of future tariff refunds into increased value for members.
