Some #smallstreamers ask me for advice, and one thing I can share since I see it on like 5%: AI art is NEVER a good choice for your content, and I see some use it for your pfp. Why is it bad? - People are against generative AI for good reasons (environmental impact, stolen art etc) so you already make people avoid your content just from that. - If you could create it with AI, 10 000 other people already did too. Your pfp etc is not unusual or unique so even if someone doesn't dislike it, you're not sticking out anyway. It was based on stolen art, so many people got the same results when putting in similar prompts. - You're telling yourself you can't afford an artist, dismissing all kinds of options you do have for free (photos, simple picture you drew yourself etc) Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT attacking you if you use gen AI to create your pfp etc, I'm just informing why it gives you a disadvantage. Because not everyone knows why it's bad, so this is to help you LEARN. Also, take look at many of the biggest streamers. Lots of them just have a photo of their face or a simple picture of their vtuber (like me) or a very simple to draw logo (because simple is more recognizable). If you can't go for complex, go for simple. Don't make your pfp make people instantly dismiss your content by not realizing how people will react to it.
