Even tho it was shit having to move heaven and earth to play the PGL quals - all members taking time off work and/or starting at 5am to play them was rough. However disregarding that, they were very accomodating for us and allowed conversation between all parties to avoid scheduling conflicts. CCT - we offered to start a game early because the early slot ff’d and they said “it’s not possible” even tho both teams were agreeing. I know in the group stage they were pretty accomodating and asking teams they can swap the days to play other tournaments, but a BO5 grand final being pretty much forfeit is very sad. Grateful for the opportunities we have in OCE, but: - we get 3 main events a season. Why the fuck do they have to clash and happen within the same week? Can we not just schedule ECL, CCT, and other tournaments on a different fucking week? - We are constantly forfeiting vital VRS points to other teams because of this. This and the scheduling conflicts only hurts our region more. Even tho it’s nothing new, but what is up with this 2 steps forward 1 step back approach?
