Would love to know the mental gymnastics it takes for a founder believe it’s a good idea to have a bot send unsolicited replies from their brand account to try and get engagement. Everyone’s dealt with a reply guy, and now you’re automating that at a rate of 3 replies per minute.

Can’t ship working autofill, can ship a review prompt in the UI. What an incredible fall from grace.
Got really excited about @1Password offering native macOS autofill, but so far the experience has been:
1. Select a login item (if it appears)
2. Enter master password
3. Nothing happened, go to step 1
4. Oh you now enter your macOS password
5. Maybe you get a password autofilled if you’re lucky
So, it’s 2Password, when it works.

Still happily team half-bounce.
I love how many people are attaching to the "half-bounch" startup time metric. I used to do paid macOS dev ~20 years ago and most macOS devs I knew then used the bounce metric! Back then multiple bounces was the norm due to HDDs. One bounce really wasn't possible until SSDs. We've lost this obsession and its time to bring it back.
