This was 100% a catch. For the ACC refs to call this incomplete and then refuse to review it even after TCU called a timeout and Coach Dykes begged for a review is not only gross incompetence, it brings into question the integrity of the ACC officials. @ACCFootball

I was told the broadcast came back to it about 10 minutes later and said he stepped out of bounds before he caught it. I haven’t seen it but that is what they said.

The broadcast was wrongly speculating. He was briefly forced out by the defender which kept him an eligible receiver. Sonny shared post game that the refs told him the replay booth had “expedited” the review and radioed down to the refs that a review wouldn’t be necessary.
