Well, did a drive around the hood. Hat's off to planners on our bridges, highways and wash crossings built since the 80s. The 100 year flood plain history is there. We broke 1909 records. Pray the folks in the flood plain for sure.
BIG PICTURE FLOODING MOVING INTO UTAH This map shows the San Juan River and the path floodwaters are traveling through the Four Corners region. On Friday, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, experienced historic and devastating flooding. By Saturday, floodwaters had reached Shiprock, New Mexico. That water is now moving downstream along the San Juan River toward communities in southeastern Utah, including Bluff, Aneth and Montezuma Creek. ⚠️ Catastrophic flooding is expected in multiple communities on Navajo Nation land before the water reaches Lake Powell. Evacuations are in place for Bluff, Montezuma Creek and Aneth. Residents who have evacuated should not return home until officials say it is safe. While the incoming water could eventually benefit the Colorado River system and Lake Powell, the immediate threat to communities along the San Juan River is severe. Please follow emergency alerts, obey evacuation orders and stay away from the fast-moving river and flooded roads.

Soon as I read the #SpaceX Patent tuesday release. I knew these clowns were torched. They like got out played by SpaceX buying the 800 MHz spectrum right under thier nose and the October 8, 2026. Patent number: 12,757,141 B1
Legacy cell carriers a few months ago: Starlink Mobile will not be a competitor. Their signal won’t even be able to penetrate walls. Legacy cell carriers today: Oh shit, we were wrong. Quick, start lobbying so they can’t compete! SpaceX plans to launch their next-gen Starlink Mobile service, built for 5G speeds, in early 2028.

Figures, Plenty of missions left for Falcon Heavy.
BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force has moved six national security launches from ULA to SpaceX to keep urgent missions on schedule. Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy will take over the time-sensitive missions. SpaceX is stepping in to help America get its critical satellites into space.

Cool thing about it, adversaries like China, Russia and others frantically wondering if it's a 3 to 5 (warhead) rocket launch at any giving time. Piece through strength.
SpaceX has proposed increasing the number of allowed Starship launches from its Starbase site in South Texas from 25 per year to 456. The FAA is currently reviewing the request. space.com/space-exploration/…

Yep, that SpaceX #Patenttuesday release on 10-6 made it pretty obvious.
BREAKING: Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile shares are falling after hours as SpaceX announces a deal to buy nationwide 800 MHz spectrum to make Starlink a major U.S. mobile carrier. 📉 AT&T: -7.5% 📉 Verizon: -7.0% 📉 T-Mobile: -6.8% Low-band spectrum carries signal through walls. Elon calls it "the last critical piece of the spectrum puzzle needed for SpaceX to provide complete phone coverage in America." Starlink Mobile is coming. Made this chart with Grok @bot. One prompt. It pulled the charts, cropped them, and stitched them together in seconds. SpaceX is cooking.

Not an easy task depending on so many variables. LNG must be kept at about ‑160 °C (‑260 °F) to remain liquid.
BREAKING: SpaceX is seeking approval to build its own 32.4-mile natural gas pipeline to fuel Starship launches from Cape Canaveral. A direct gas supply would reduce reliance on hundreds of LNG truckloads per launch, helping SpaceX meet the fuel demands of more frequent launches.

Something to say about fabricating everything you can in house from scratch like SpaceX.
The Space Launch System costs $4.1 billion per launch. One launch. NASA's own inspector general confirmed that number. Boeing builds the core stage. Northrop Grumman builds the solid rocket boosters. Aerojet Rocketdyne supplies the engines. Every one of those contracts flows to congressional districts where senators sit on the appropriations committees that fund NASA. Coincidence? Congress mandated the SLS in 2010 because the cancellation of the Constellation program threatened to idle the same workforce and facilities that had built the Space Shuttle. Senators Richard Shelby and Bill Nelson wrote the requirement directly into the authorization bill. They protected Alabama and Florida jobs. The politics drove the rocket, not engineering logic. SpaceX's Falcon Heavy lifts comparable payload for roughly $90 million. The SLS costs forty-five times more per flight. That gap destroys you as a taxpayer; you fund the difference without consent and without choice. No competitive bid. No market test. Boeing received cost-plus contracts, meaning every overrun simply became next year's invoice to the Treasury. Ludwig von Mises identified the central problem: when bureaucracies spend other people's money on other people's projects, waste is the predictable outcome, not the aberration. Congress spent $23 billion developing the SLS before its first launch in November 2022. It launched twice total by mid-2026, with the third mission schedule slipping repeatedly. The SLS is a constituency management program wearing a rocket as a costume.

Crazy tech from the master.
Just to understand how insane SpaceX’s Raptor 3 is, compare ONE engine with the RS-25 powering NASA’s SLS Raptor 3: ~617,000 lbf sea-level thrust ~1,525 kg ~3.1 m tall ~1.3 m wide RS-25: ~418,000 lbf sea-level thrust ~3,515 kg ~4.3 m tall ~2.4 m wide Raptor 3 is ~28% shorter, ~46% narrower and ~57% lighter… Yet ONE Raptor 3 produces nearly 50% MORE sea-level thrust That gives it roughly 3× the sea-level thrust-to-weight ratio That is an absurd amount of power packed into such a compact engine SpaceX made Raptor 3 more powerful, lighter, reusable and so radically simplified that when it was revealed, ULA CEO Tory Bruno thought it was a “partially assembled” engine It was the complete engine And then comes the ridiculous part… Super Heavy packs 33 Raptor 3s underneath ONE booster A wall of 33 engines producing roughly 20 million pounds of thrust One Raptor 3 is insane engineering 33 of them firing together is what turns Super Heavy into an absolute monster

The Space Shuttle was awesome 4 sure. With 1 at 104.5% of rated thrust
Behold the beauty of four recently installed rocket engines 💅 These four RS-25 rocket engines are now on the work stand for integration with the core stage of the Artemis III rocket. These engines will generate more than two million pounds of thrust at liftoff.

The American 250 IndyCar used a Dallara chassis with a Honda engine, as is standard for the NTT IndyCar Series. Still, the winning car was powered by a U.S.-based Honda engine and fielded by an American team.
THE WHITE HOUSE // A Delicate Arrival   To celebrate IndyCar and Fox Corporation’s historic $2M funding of Fostering the Future Scholarships, an American racecar entered the Rose Garden for the first time.  Transporting a precision racing machine to one of America’s most historic venues required meticulous planning and coordination. We ensured flawless operation, with zero tolerance for error.

I'ma thinking you need a girl of color on you're side too. idk 🏀
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert and the @WNBA task force, I am now speaking directly to you. I’m going to keep this short and sweet, so open your ears and listen carefully. I would like to offer you a peace summit, moderated by my friend @Caitlyn_Jenner. I’ve already spoken with her, and she’s in. I’m not a troublemaker. I’m more of a peacemaker. Listen, The whole world is laughing at you. You have turned the #WNBA into a laughingstock. It’s time to stop hiding behind closed-door meetings, excuses, and delays and finally give the public a clear answer. Let’s have the peace summit. No shouting. No hiding. No carefully scripted statements. Let’s sit across the table from each other, have an open and respectful conversation, and address the questions millions of people are asking. Let’s put everything on the table and let the public hear both sides. If you truly believe in your position, you should have no problem defending it publicly. So, Commissioner Engelbert and the WNBA task force, the invitation is officially on the table. Name the time. Name the place. Let’s talk. Are you in?
