Scott Kuehn (@SeismicWhite), a senior-level designer and environment artist at id Software who worked on the DOOM franchise, shared his work-in-progress 4v4 map for Deadlock called Harbor. The map features two lanes with a central lighthouse that illuminates the vault, and after one minute when the ethereal hand descends, it opens to reveal a large number of souls to claim and fight over.

However, unresolved security issues regarding the hosting of files across users' machines forced Valve to switch to the traditional content delivery network (CDN) model.
