A full life is a gift. A career in golf is a privilege. Having my story told is a humbling honour. My heart is full—full of gratitude for those who brought this documentary to life and full of love for the people who made the journey so extraordinary. You start out just wanting to win that first tournament. Then one day, you look back and realize the journey of a champion became something far greater than trophies or titles. This is my story… of how a young boy from Africa dared to conquer the world.

It’s hard to believe 10 years have passed since we lost Arnold. His love of people and golf remains unmatched. Remember to give as much love as you can as the memories remain forever. GP

There are few things more rewarding than seeing a golf course mature while remaining true to the land that inspired it. When we designed Goose Valley in the heart of South Africa’s magnificent Garden Route, our goal was to create a course that golfers of every standard could enjoy, while still requiring them to think their way around each hole. Keep the hands on the inside but make sure the club head remains outside the hands on the backswing. Ben Hogan taught me this over 60 years ago and I didnt realise what it would do for my game until well after my professional career. I hope it helps your game. GP #PXGTroops

If you want to improve your game, a strong short game is imperative. Having confidence around the greens will improve your scoring. Having a strong base and keep your weight on your lead foot are important basics to get right. Spend more time chipping and putting and see how it impacts your game. GP #PXGTroops

I have learnt to understand that golf is about minimizing your misses. On the tee, I aim up the right and I do everything to hit a draw. It gives me confidence knowing that I then have the entirety of the fairway to play with. If I hit a small draw, I end up on the right side of the fairway. If I hit a big draw, I end up on the left side of the fairway. If you aim up the middle, you double your room for error. Lesson is to learn the way you shape the ball and then make it work for you.  #PXGTroops
