the more I've been seeing how people treat artists, and art in general, the more soul crushing it is. you can spend years on something, or put in massive time and resources into a project and people will trash it for not being perfect, while not understanding how things are made.

It feels like If you make something, it better be good, and afterwards you need to close yourself off from anyone who consumes it. It's a miracle art like what we see now is getting finished at all and I think people take that for granted.
