The Pentagon Press Association just released this statement: "The Pentagon Press Association expresses its solidarity with White House reporters banned by President Donald Trump. The PPA notes that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth expressed his support for the decision, almost a year after he took the unprecedented step of withdrawing the valid press credentials of nearly the entirety of the Pentagon Press Corps. Our position then, as it is now, is that media access to the Pentagon, as well as others federal agencies, is critical to ensuring the flow of independent, accurate information to the American people about what their government does in their names."

We've got a great team at the @PioneerPress, but it's smaller than ever, and this pace is unsustainable. Also, the pay sucks. We need more reporters, a raise and some guarantees around here... This morning, Secret Service barred our own @PENGuild member Cheyenne Haslett from the White House simply for doing her job. Press access cannot be weaponized against journalists for their reporting. An attack on one outlet's ability to cover the White House is an attack on a free press for all of us. We stand with our member and every journalist targeted for doing their job.

Yesterday, this company told Guild members we have to "dig deeper" to cover the costs of our health care. Today, its executives rang the opening bell at the the NYSE.
