As demand for cyber professionals outpaces supply, leaders from @ITU, @gcfriyadh, @UN_Women & @USTTI speaking at the High-Level Convening on Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity examined how collaborative action can help dismantle barriers to women's participation in cybersecurity.

Opening the High-Level Convening on Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity, H.E. Abdulaziz Alwasil, Ambassador & Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UN, underscored the value of multilateral partnerships in addressing the global cybersecurity talent gap.

On September 22, the Women in Cyber Awards will recognize excellence in advancing women’s participation and leadership in cybersecurity.​ This year’s strong field of applications reflects the breadth of work underway across regions, sectors and organizations of all sizes.

Participants from 18 countries convened for the #OTCybersecurityHackathon, led by the OTC-CoE & @aramco, advancing solutions to pressing OT security challenges in a dynamic threat landscape.​ RECON2 were overall winners for addressing the challenge of Reconnaissance in OT.

A co-creation workshop engaging young gamers globally captured their perspectives to help inform the design of more effective, trusted in-game safety messages.​ Part of Phase II of the GCF-WeProtect research partnership, it aims to shape safer online gaming for children.

The first #OTCybersecurityHackathon kicked off with teams working alongside expert mentors to tackle real-world challenges and test innovative approaches to secure OT environments as the cyber threat landscape evolves.

At the #OTCybersecurityHackathon, participants learned about real-world opportunities and challenges presented by rapid innovations in operational technologies and the importance of strengthening OT cybersecurity to prevent disruption to economies and societies.

At the opening of the #OTCybersecurityHackathon in collaboration with @aramco Shaker Hashlan, Chair of the OT Cybersecurity Center of Excellence’s Technical Review Committee introduced the Center and its role in advancing collaboration to secure critical infrastructure worldwide.
