Exclusive ⚡️ R3 spent a decade building with the world’s largest financial institutions. Now that infrastructure connects to Solana. In our latest interview, CEO Richard Brown said R3 is preparing to launch Corda Protocol on Solana, beginning with a yield vault alongside an unnamed top-tier bank. @inside_r3 is targeting a full launch ahead of Solana Breakpoint this November, with instant liquidity planned as part of the rollout. Corda networks can now connect to Solana mainnet in production, allowing institutions to use Solana to notarize private transactions and bridge tokenized assets to onchain investors. Full interview with Richard Brown, CEO of R3:

The team behind a decade of regulated infrastructure for the world's largest banks is now building on @Solana. We have what we need. The window is now.
🇰🇷 CONNECT: Crypto has enough regulatory clarity to start building, according to @inside_r3 co-founder @Mcdtv. “We're never going to get perfect clarity,” he said, arguing that the next few years offer an opportunity to build new products, infrastructure and tokenized capital markets

The strangest loop in onchain finance: Capital lives onchain, then goes offchain for diversified yield. Corda is building the direct route: blue-chip real-world asset exposure designed for Solana-native access, liquidity and composability. Keep capital internet-native.

The largest pools of onchain capital are sitting at or below SOFR. Not because allocators prefer low returns, but because the tiers above are too new or too opaque to underwrite. Closing that gap is a sourcing and diligence problem. One that @cordaxyz is going to solve.
The biggest assets onchain pay less than a Treasury. The largest market caps sit at or below the SOFR line. The double-digit tier holds four assets, none of them large. Size and yield run in opposite directions.

First of our short research notes on onchain yield. Majority of RWA is at (or below 😬) risk free rate (SOFR). A good chunk of the yield for RWAs above SOFR lands via token incentives. Higher real yields that can scale with allocator demand...still to be delivered onchain

This paper is worth reading. Well-written and addresses some points - such as interplay of fees, sanctions and permissionless validation - that I haven't seen addressed very well in the past.
1/ Today, @m_mosier_ @malekanoms & I are sharing a new paper: "The Compatibility of Financial Integrity With Permissionless Networks". Institutions say BSA & sanctions laws prevent use of these networks. We debunk this & provide a path forward. 🧵 papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…

The world's most elite financial institutions bring assets onchain via Corda. We provide the yield, dynamic liquidity, and access to internet capital markets that investors demand. All governed by vigilant veterans of Wall Street and DeFi with over a decade of experience building enterprise financial infrastructure. Effective tokenization requires the trust of premier financial institutions, rigorous compliance, and tight security. Few have the experience. Corda delivers all three. Coming soon to @solana . Blue chip only.

Corda networks are now connected to Solana. Assets that have only ever existed on permissioned infrastructure can reach public liquidity, without leaving the networks they originated on. @sixgroup and R3 on how it works, and why nobody had done it before. Made possible through our partnership with @solana.

What on earth is Google playing at? This has been happening for weeks now: scammers buying adwords for prominent crypto protocols (not new) but using Google's own redirect service to disguise the URI in the ad so a distracted user misses the opportunity to spot a dodgy link 🤯

Does anybody else have an intermittent issue with Chrome on macOS, where a URL in a new tab will sometimes just not open... And the only way to recover is to restart Chrome. Significantly, it has no recollection that you were ever trying to open that link... so if you're ever in the habit of cmd-clicking a series of links, you can look up and realise NONE of them have opened... and if you then restart Chrome they're lost forever! It's as if a fundamental promise (Chrome never loses your open tabs) has been broken. Just me?!

I’m really proud to work at @inside_r3 because the people here have strong integrity and high moral standards. It also means a lot to me that our CEO and co-founder @gendal signed a letter to the US Senate, asking lawmakers to pass the CLARITY Act along with the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA). 💥 Code itself is not a crime. Developers who write code and contribute to decentralized networks need clear rules about when regulations apply and when they do not. Many of the products and protocols we use today exist because developers were free to experiment, improve, and build openly. This freedom should continue. cdn.prod.website-files.com/6…

I joined 60+ CEOs and founders in signing a letter to Senate leaders: developer protections are essential to any workable crypto market structure bill. We urge the Senate to pass the Clarity Act with robust developer protections.  Read our full letter: t.ly/iXpDU
