Very well said. I feel exactly the same and the reason I will never bail on him/them.
The poor timing was atrocious but blame his disgusting mgmt.
It was all pre-planned & the audio, at the very end, was purposely done - after the camera shut off which normally wouldn't occur.
Iβve seen people saying to mass unfollow Louis, that they are leaving the fandom and sick of being the ones getting all the hate and backlash all the time.
I get it but leaving isnβt the answer. Call it out, call his shitty PR team out but remember behind the bullshit PR is a person whoβs been abused by this industry since he was 18years old. Heβs been told heβs not good enough, talented enough and that his queerness is something that needs to be hidden and is insulting.
Please remember that heβs a victim here and his stunts actually cause him damage. We might be upset but weβre not the ones who have to hide half of who we are to just have a career and who canβt even be seen with their partners outside.
I think using the mental health interview for stunt talk was reprehensible but itβs not his fault. Heβs under contract and bound to promote the het image for PR.
The blame lies with Cowbell, Sony, Simon Jones and his current team.
Please donβt loose sight of who the real villains are because youβre angry at Louis.
He warned us. He followed Siobhan and left that follow there for half a day. He hates it too. Heβs unhappy with it too, but he has to act like heβs okay with it because thatβs his fucking job.
And Iβm so hurt for him because he doesnβt deserve to be a side character in his own story.
We canβt lose sight of that because weβre the only ones who see him, the real him, not the bs one for the media and he needs us.
Sorry for the rant but I needed to say it.
