👀 AskJack now has onboarding flows. I'm giving @getuserflow a shot. I've used user flow software before, from a big company that charges a lot of $$$. It sucked, amazingly bad. I won't name them. But wow. UserFlow on the other hand. Wow, what a great tool to build flows. (Though I'm writing a dev.to blog post right now on how to use it with Nextjs 14 and the App Router to save others a headache).

Yesterday, we launched the pilot of a GPT-4 powered Support Assistant in @Ordoro , using @getuserflow 🚀 It’s trained on our support articles. Based on my early testing, the LLM output is close, but not 100% every time. But if it can lead users to the right support article, that’s a win for now because our support articles are detailed and up to date. Honestly, I’m also slightly nervous about how this will go. We’re known for our 5-star support, and I don’t want this tool to lower that reputation. It’s not an alternative to the human-support we offer; it's just another channel. 😅 Let's see how it goes.

Always great to see happy customers
Creating an onboarding and watching a brand new user (my wife) go through it is a really educational experience Was really able to find friction points and confusing concepts along the way to "Aha!" Part of that is @getuserflow having an awesome tool that let me focus entirely on product #buildinpublic

Bootstrapping, like all forms of strategy, is about being cognizant of your tradeoffs. This interview provides an inside look at the tradeoffs that @getuserflow made as the company bootstrapped its way to $4 million in ARR with just 3 employees. The company has been extremely thoughtful about hiring, product decisions, and support, all informed by questions of financial outcomes and work/life balance. Taking inspiration from successful bootstrappers like @jasonfried of @37signals/Basecamp, Userflow rejected the typical venture-backed path. This discussion gives insights into Userflow's techniques for efficient development and scaling while maintaining work-life balance. By bootstrapping, the company has been able to stay nimble and make decisions based on customers' needs rather than chasing fundraising milestones. In this episode of Bootstrapped Legends, Esben Friis-Jensen shared the differences between his previous venture-backed company and Userflow's mentality. He also discussed the company's ambitions, which center on continuing to build a great product and business rather than pursuing an exit. For any software founder considering bootstrapping, this interview offers an inside look at how Userflow has made it work. Check it out here: tidemarkcap.com/post/bootstr…
