For a couple of cycles the TX Republican Party's official platform documents explicitly opposed the teaching of critical thinking skills in schools. (2010-2012 I believe.) The stated reason was that these skills were only taught to encourage kids to question their parents' faith.

okay starbucks nerds, how the heck do i order a hot chocolate in the app and NOT get mocha? hot chocolate lists "mocha sauce"; if i remove it entirely i just get a cup of hot milk. there's no option to change to a chocolate flavor. ordering in person works fine. WHAT GIVES
