my wedding gifts came in crypto. so i paid for our honeymoon with it I got married this summer, and a good half of our friends are crypto people so the wedding gifts looked "sent you something bro, check your wallet" overall, very cute and fun, but way less fun when the honeymoon is in tokyo and airbnb doesn't take crypto old me would've gone p2p. find a seller, wait, hope the bank doesn't freeze the transfer, explain to my wife why the apartment still isn't booked this time i opened a upay card @UPayOfficial_EN and used it for the whole trip. here's the setup and how it worked in tokyo the setup app and kyc. download, sign up, turn on 2fa. then verify, there's a banner for it right on the home screen. most things stay locked until you make a deposit. the gifts were on my usual wallet, so i moved them into upay from there. usdt, usdc, btc and eth are supported the card. virtual or physical, same terms on both: •2% transaction fee •0% cross-border fx •up to 16,000 usd per transaction •apple pay / google pay i went with virtual, issuance was $10. then added it to my phone wallet how it worked in tokyo airbnb. the biggest payment of the trip, and the one i was worried about. went through like any normal card. the 16k limit per transaction means even a long stay fits in one payment bars and cafes. this is where 0% fx matters most. you pay in yen, and the only extra is the 2% fee. no conversion markup hiding on top of every coffee excursions. same card, same flow. nothing special to report, which is kind of the point one card for everything, no switching between accounts, no topping up a bank card through p2p halfway through the trip what it costs pricing page is the most honest page on any site, so: •virtual card: $10 once •2% per transaction •0% fx •2% atm withdrawal •no annual fee the app also has an esim section, worth checking before a trip like this to everyone who sent crypto instead of a toaster thank you. it's now a very nice apartment, a lot of bars and a couple of excursions in tokyo leaving my ref download.upay.best/?ref=GFUM…

If you removed every call-to-action from your content, would people still consume it?

every launch i've worked on started from the value prop, because that's the order everyone knows and expects this time there's no product to make a prop out of, so we opened with curiosity and nothing else "share your opinion" is the oldest cta on the internet and it still works out really great keep building @voicecc

i am the wrong marketer we had budget for new channels this month and i refused to spend it instead, optimized the team on giving people something to do on the site instead (btw it's new now: @voicecc) what we added: more poll formats, more content platforms with unique pieces, and then even more questions on the platform visits up 40%, time on site up 30%, spend flat what i keep coming back to is that if we'd bought the traffic first we'd have paid to learn the same thing, just slower and with worse mood
