We're just getting started.
The goal is make launching a token from ZEC feel effortless. Fewer steps, faster confirmations, more control for creators, and more privacy as the Zcash tooling grows.
Here's where we're headed 🧵
→ Faster, smoother launches from deposit to live
→ Shielded address support, once the swap layer allows it
→ Creator dashboards and team fee splits
→ More ways to follow and share your launch
ZEC holders deserve a launchpad built for them. We're building it.
Updates
You can now see creators getting paid on Shield Pad
Launch cards in Explore show the creator fees paid out so far, and every ZEC payout on your order page links to its Zcash transaction
Plus a share card when your token goes live, Shield Pad draws a ready-to-post image of your launch in your browser, with nothing uploaded
Download it or share to X
Some Shield Pad features hide in plain sight:
• A wallet generator that never sends your secret key anywhere
• Initial-buy tokens to any address
• A QR that pre-fills your ZEC payment
• Search by mint address
• Opt out of the explorer
A few small upgrades to launching with ZEC:
• Market cap and payout method on every launch card
• A "Save this link" reminder on in-progress orders
• Optional transaction ID to help your deposit get found sooner
• Live launch stats on the home page
More soon
We looked into what more privacy could mean for Shield Pad.
The swap layer, NEAR Intents, supports transparent Zcash addresses only (t1 and t3). Unified and shielded addresses aren't supported there yet.
So today single-use deposit addresses, no accounts, and you choose what's public, from the explorer listing to your payout address.
When shielded support lands, we want to be ready. What would you want first: shielded payouts or shielded refunds?
Fees build up on-chain for your token, shield pad distributes your 80% to a wallet dedicated to your token.
Past a small minimum, it's swapped to ZEC through NEAR Intents. The ZEC is sent to your Zcash address
Worth knowing: with ZEC payouts, the platform holds your share between distribution and conversion.
Prefer to hold it yourself? Choose SOL payouts and fees go straight to your Solana wallet.
You can now paste your transaction ID on Shield Pad
Sent your ZEC and want your deposit found sooner? Add the transaction ID on the order page and we pass it to the swap provider so it can look up your deposit right away
Shield Pad runs on NEAR Intents.
Zcash and Solana don't talk to each other. NEAR Intents is what lets a ZEC deposit become the SOL needed to launch a pump.fun token, with no bridge for you to set up and no extra wallet to fund.
How we use it:
- We quote the exact SOL a launch needs, and you see the ZEC amount up front
- Each quote gets a single-use ZEC deposit address
- If the swap can't complete, the deposit is refunded to your Zcash address
shieldpad.fun
1. Listing: show your token in the public explorer, or keep it off the list.
2. Your ZEC address: with ZEC payouts, it stays off the explorer card by default. Turn it on only if you're happy to link it publicly to your token.
3. Initial buy: send the tokens to any Solana address you choose, or generate a fresh wallet in your browser.
The token and its trades are public on Solana, like any pump.fun launch. Everything beyond that is your call.
