An update on something that’s been happening over the past 12 months. Somebody or some people threatened to kill my children. The offence would certainly carry a custodial sentence because it cited a weapon, vulnerable groups (children) and was done anonymously on social media. My family required 24/7 security and the kids even had someone walking to school with them. Thank you to GB News for all their support with that, we’re very grateful for all their help and concern. Police located the account to an address in Tower Hamlets but after saying they were about to make arrests, they now say they won’t pursue it because it’s potentially one of three individuals and they can’t pinpoint which one it was. How about you go round and ask them - and you know, investigate? Police are happy enough to make 12,000 arrests each year for social media posts but when it comes to threatening to kill children of someone who speaks up for the country, it’s apparently not a big issue despite the gravity of the offence. The problem that arises from this is people start beginning to lose trust in the institutions that are meant to protect them. The institutions we pay for. And when that trust erodes, it’s not good for society. Ann Widdecombe was slaughtered only months ago and I’m told on my own show by certain guests that words don’t kill people. Well, they do. And they have a huge impact on people’s lives. Thank you again to GB News for all their support. They have been top class. Shame I can’t say the same about the police.

If I was in charge of the Conservatives, this quote from Labour would be on the front of every leafelt, in every rural and semi-Rural constituency between now and the General Election. Sums up their attitude and disregard for our culture, heritage and traditions.

I wouldn’t call it a fantasy, I’d just call it last Sunday.

People were warned. “Mark my words, Labour will raise your taxes. You name it, Labour will tax it”. Labour have taxed everything and already increased taxes by £70 billion in the first two years. Andy Burnham is preparing for another huge tax raid next month.

I’m not running to be YC Chair just to lead. I’m running so we can finish the job of rebuilding the Young Conservatives together. And we’re only getting started. #keepkevin

Over the past year I’ve made it a priority to get out across the country. I have worked with members to launch new branches, support existing ones and make sure young Conservatives across the country feel involved. Below are just a few examples of that work in the South West, Leeds, Birmingham and Cambridgeshire. I believe that there is so much more that we can do. This time if I am elected by the members I will have the mandate to take that work even further and build a Young Conservatives that truly works for everyone right across the country.

I think it’s fairly obvious that I am backing @KevinGhateh for YC Chair! He has built the Young Conservatives from the ground up and truly cares about ensuring we have a voice within the Conservative Party. As Margaret Thatcher so perfectly put it “I usually make up my mind about a man in ten seconds, and I very rarely change it.”

Around 2,000 flights were cancelled by the air traffic control failure back on the 8th of September. I asked the transport minister what advice passengers were getting. NATS has since blamed a software defect. The CAA is reviewing whether it is investing enough in resilience.
