Our postdoc Rahul Giri (@grahul360) has been awarded the SNSF Postdoc.Mobility 2025, supporting his 2-year research at The Ohio State University. He joined us after his PhD with Prof. D. Katayev (@KatayevL) University of Bern. Excited for the chemistry ahead! @snsf_ch@OSU_CBC
The Vigyan Pratibha Regional Centre, IISER Bhopal, organized a two-day Cluster Camp on 17–18 September 2026 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bhopal, bringing together students and teachers from four participating schools:
📍 PM SHRI KV No. 3, Baghmughaliya
📍 PM SHRI KV Bangrasiya
📍 PM SHRI KV Bairagarh
📍 PM SHRI KV No. 1, Bhopal
Over the two days, students engaged with Vigyan Pratibha Mathematics and Science Learning Units, participating in hands-on activities, observations, discussions, investigations, and collaborative problem-solving.
The sessions provided students with opportunities to ask questions, make predictions, test their ideas, analyse their observations, and develop conceptual understanding through their own experiences.
The camp also encouraged students to learn collaboratively and approach Science and Mathematics with curiosity and confidence.

Zhang lab kicked off the summer with our first volleyball game, clearly just a “warm-up” round. The first-years somehow snagged the win… beginner’s luck is strong this season 😄 Ready for the rematch!
Our perspective charts the potential of water as a programmable reaction medium using compatible catalysts, EDA complexes, engineered micelles and microdroplets. Congrats @yaming_tian

“This is my first time in India, it’s been mind-blowing. There’s a real sort of bubbling confidence and aspiration. It feels like this is India’s moment — and India knows it.”

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics goes to John Clarke, Michel Devoret, and John Martinis —
“for the discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnelling and energy quantisation in an electric circuit.”
Here's what I understand of their work (experts feel free to chime in) 🧵
