If you're under 25 or so and engaging with historical 9-11 footage, the state of video tech then might not be obvious. But it explains why we have crystal-clear footage of Flight 175 and nearly none for everything else.

In Nairobi for @JoniandFriends and ended up visiting a PCEA congregation ordinance their presbytery's first deaf elder. Great time of worship and celebration. Fitting Scripture readings and sermon on God's choice of David (1 Sam 16) and qualifications for elders (1 Tim 3).

Jews in the first century commonly observed the Torah, although the precise details of how they interpreted the Torah differed among Jews. The claim that “rabbinic Judaism” was already the norm in the early first century CE, and that “Jesus lived and taught as a Rabbinic Jew of his time,” is one I strongly disagree with. 🧵1/7

It's early to say how this will turn out, and it's late for more people to apply, but I am very encouraged by the interactions I've had with people through this and am sure we will better connect some early career scholars in disability and Bible/theology/religion!

Greater LA boundaries can be mad confusing. I tested some family/friends I grew up with here on if a few well-known places are the City of LA, an independent city, or neither and NOBODY got above 50%. Just made a 25 locations quiz - test your knowledge! forms.gle/dE8JaiCEeCm9sJof8
