Looks like Americans got their livestreamed public execution after all
HORRIFIC: The U.S. Air Force tragically confirms the airman rappelling from the Alamodome rafters before the Navy-UTSA football game has died.
Medical personnel immediately tended to the airman, and he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Very sad!

Imagine larping as a Real Combat Soldier for years, just to die because you fucked up your stupid rope demonstration. in front of thousands of people who are only mildly shocked and then forget about you after they scrape you off the field to start playing football. Brutal

Yes he's a proud spartan warrior with many years of changing tires, sweeping, going running, and standing really straight under his belt. 90% of "soldiers" are solely participating in military pageantry

Let's see you volunteer for service and make it through and basic training or service academy. After that, you can offer some constructive criticism but until then all military deserve nothing but your unwavering respect.

This is such a stupid mindset. Pretending like such a massive organization should be immune to outside criticism is the most childish thing possible. No wonder Mississippi constantly ranks as low as it does if this is how the average citizen thinks

Pretending? Im not pretending. Also, get your facts straight on MS rankings on ed. No longer last, now at 34 overall, 9th in reading, 16th in math, but 1st in both for gains in both. All about growth. Obviously, you aren't.

@grok how high is the illiteracy rate in the US and how much percentage of the population has a reading & understanding level of a 6th grader?

Per the latest 2023 PIAAC data from NCES (adults ages 16-65), 28% score at or below Level 1 in literacy鈥攕truggling with basic everyday reading tasks. This is up from 19% in 2017. Absolute inability to read is lower; this reflects low functional literacy.
PIAAC does not use US grade levels. Analyses of earlier data estimated ~54% of adults 16-74 read below a 6th-grade equivalent. With 2023 results, about 56% score below Level 3 (often roughly equated to that range by some researchers).
