Everytime a single outcome is needed but there are two opposing sides, a judge is required. In a football match between two teams, the referee is the final authority on match events. The referee escalates certain disputes to the video assistant referee (VAR) for final decisions but players or coaches cannot initiate a VAR check, basically they cannot appeal. So, take prediction markets for example, one side always has to win the bet. Sometimes disputes may arise as to how the bet was resolved. Depending on the prediction market, the dispute maybe resolved by human token-holders voting or via a centralized corporate decision and it takes hours to days. When two parties disagree on the terms of an agreement, they go to the law court for judgement. Currently, AI agents can carry out different tasks including financial transactions. It is projected that AI agents will move $9 trillion by 2030. Agent infrastructure available includes payments, identity, interoperability, negotiation and execution. These infrastructures are designed for perfect conditions. They are not designed for when agents disagree. AI agents cannot go to the traditional law courts when disputes arise. So, we are in an agentic economy and there is no dispute resolution layer. @GenLayer has built the internet court for the AI age providing trustless dispute resolution. The Internet Court is the open standard for agent disputes and has launched with 27 founding members and still expanding. Genlayer uses a jury of independent validators running multiple LLMs to prevent bias/attacks and introduces optimistic democracy to achieve consensus on dispute resolution in minutes. nfts have made rarity public by default. you can see the traits, rank and metadata almost immediately. @FungoLabs is building something different. a genesis collection that uses zama’s fhe to keep each nft’s essence encrypted on ethereum. the holder can reveal the art, while the hidden traits remain private and contracts can still compute on the encrypted data. this opens up some interesting possibilities, especially for games and on-chain mechanics where knowing someone’s traits would ruin the experience. the concept is genuinely interesting, but the project is still very early. the account and site are new, and the launchpad/game are still roadmap ideas. i’m watching how the technology plays out. private nfts could become a lot more interesting if FHE actually works at scale.
