@MSU_Basketball season is going to be great this year. And no other league -- not the Big 12, not the SEC, not the Big East, and especially not thee ACC -- is going to hold a candle to the @BigTen Conference this season. #MSUBasketball #GoSparty #BigTen #NCAA #MBB

Good article from @usatodaysports , but it's ridiculous that the Big 12 (or ACC if they ever are strong enough) needs the stars to align perfectly to get three obviously deserving teams in the CFP. No one wants to watch a 3-loss Texas or LSU in the CFP. BYU win over Notre Dame gives Big 12 national respect and a lot more usatoday.com/story/sports/co… via @usatoday

A professional guy, I assume who is an Arizona State alum, proves he’s one of the worst fans they have. Hey Bill, if you love your school it’s not all about W’s and L’s. Losing is frustrating, but I still go all the way to East Lansing every year for a few games despite the team not being great the last few years. Be better.
Man, sad to say but I won’t be coming back for any @ASUFootball games this season. This team is atrociously bad. Terrible play, terrible coaching. Terrible discipline. Always unprepared. Swiss cheese defense, pop warner O-Line, incompetent QB play. 40-10 at halftime after getting blown out by Baylor and letting Hawaii hang around is insane. 2024 was a flash in the pan carried by Skattebo, Tyson, & Leavitt & this coaching staff may not be it despite what seemed like a lot of promise. Feels like nothing will ever change for this program. I certainly won’t be spending a dollar to support it anytime soon after being die hard for 18 years. What a bummer.

Tom Izzo is right. Heartbreaking loss yesterday, but a year ago we were getting blown out. These frustrating close losses are harder to take than the blowouts, but they are part of the growing process. These close losses are wins next year. #michiganstatebasketball #msuspartans #CFB
After over a hour long press-conference on BASKETBALL Tom Izzo decided to end it with this: “For all of you, I’ll bet you this football program is going somewhere in the very near future” 🎥 @TheSpartanMag

Texas fans continue to tell everyone they are classier than everyone else.
Hated to see this after the game. Fans are frustrated but no need to run onto the field and do this.

It’s a rough day for the “We don’t need to expand the playoff because only 6 teams can win” It’s a new era. Parity is here. Chaos is here. We need to determine the champion on the field not a board room. More teams helps get us there.

Tragic news from the Texas-San Antonio game last night.
Terrible news from UTSA game: “Nellis Air Force Base Public Affairs issued a statement saying the service member, who was assigned to the 6th Combat Training Squadron, Detachment 2, was injured at the stadium and died at a local hospital.” espn.com/college-football/st…

When I see moronic posts like this from some guy who calls himself " @SportsTalkDrew " it tells me Drew doesn't know much about the x's and o's of football and probably just talks too much if his screen name is any clue.
Congratulations to Big 12 officials on handing a very average BYU team the greatest "win" in the history of their irrelevant, pathetic football program! BYU will obviously get blown out in the College Football Playoff Notre Dame will have to settle for 14-1 instead of 15-0

Seems a little inappropriate for targeting or anything else.
DT Boubacar Traore has been ejaculated for targeting.

I don't know why this is shocking or a stunner to anyone. This is Texas every year. They are always ranked highly and it's been fashionable to rank them #1 preseason the past few years. I've said it every year when the rankings come out and I'll say it again. They will lose at least 3-4 games no matter how much talent they have because they have a soft culture. Some programs always overachieve and some always underachieve.
Stunner: No. 1 and unbeaten a week ago, Texas will lose a second straight game, this time at home to Florida in an ugly offensive outing that included five sacks of Arch Manning, a critical Manning fumble and two turnovers-on-downs.

"The Voice of the Frogs" is taking a dogpiling from fans of @TCUFootball .
@brianestridge , you cash TCU’s checks, then lecture the people writing them about being “real fans.” Apparently, demanding the conference championship contention TCU promised makes us “keyboard warriors,” while swallowing another season of excuses proves our loyalty. Fuck that. It’s October, and we’re staring at a fourth straight season outside the Big 12 title picture. The fans didn’t invent the expectations you’re dismissing. TCU set them. We bought tickets, wrote checks and supported the program accordingly. Now the people delivering the results get endless excuses, and the people demanding the promised results get their loyalty questioned? You built your credibility as the voice of the Frogs. Using it to shield this administration while sneering at the fans funding it is a disgrace. Shame on you.

I've said it repeatedly and it continues to hold true.
Not to pat myself on the back, but I've said this repeatedly going back the last three years Ok, I'm patting but who cares. Texas is never the least talented team on the field, but their culture is marshmallow soft. They definitely out-talent the other team when there is a significant difference, but when the talent is even close to being equal we see what's happening tonight. People who aren't morons are downplaying it, which is why you find it shocking.
Replying to @hoeBread36
his texts were horrifyingly abusive and absolutely disgusting and are completely and utterly indefensible by any stretch in any light in any reading with any ‘context’. there is so much downplaying here that i’m honestly shocked

The @NCAA seems to be doing everything it can to make itself look like a bunch of assholes. They are digging their heels in determined not to give anything to the 2022 players who were forced to make decisions without knowing the whole story. Decisions many of them wouldn't have made had they known. But the NCAA has become Barney Fife waving his gun in the air and chasing them down saying "Hey I said no and you better do what I say!!!" It's no wonder everyone thinks they're worthless.
This whole thing has become comical. The NCAA couldn’t have mismanaged this eligibility rule change worse. They screwed over the high school class of 2022. It would be an easy fix to right the wrong, but they won’t, and they are portraying the victims of their wrong doing as villains. I’m not sure if this is theatre in an attempt to show congress that they need an antitrust exemption, or incompetence. Either way, it’s exhausting.

Any idiot who thinks Metallica will or should be cancelled because they said they aren't political and everyone is welcome to their shows has a screw loose. I don't understand what's wrong with the subset of our population that is too stupid to handle anyone having different views? It's like they caught a virus that turns them all into low IQ 8 year olds.
Metallica's James Hetfield BLASTS other celebrities who push their political opinions on fans “Metallica is not here like some other entertainers to influence you with their bullshit” 🔥
