It’s kind of funny that some people are giving Miami no credit for its helmet games (Clemson and Florida State) because those teams are down, but they’re also not giving Miami credit for its top-20 road win over Wake Forest because they don’t realize a team with a relatively small brand is ranked.
Miami is the first team to hold the #1 ranking after 7 weeks with ZERO wins over ranked opponents since Ohio State in 2015.
Unfortunate that the voters are rewarding a team for RUNNING from competition.
