"Debate me / change my mind" culture started on college campuses about 10 years ago bc a lot of young men were being driven crazy bc they didn't feel like they were being heard or that they could speak, they were quite literally being yelled at, cancelled, shoo'ed away for speaking against "woke" (which is why this became such a huge catch all phrase) the "debate me" guys were/are hugely important to many young men in this country because they can have dialogue without violence, they also observed that the lockstep censorship (which don't even start, was a thing) also led them to form entire orgs to protect their ability to do so. you probably think this will just die down anon, but it won't, it's a continuation of escalation that already started, but you were too busy collecting LABUBUs and calling everyone bigots to notice it. The slaughter (and celebration) of the debate bro's death will have a lot of consequences, some u will see right away some u won't, I know he did not call for violence or extermination of others and was pro 2A, this was the guy that was fairly moderate all things considered. So how the men are seeing it (from what they're saying) is that the other "side" is done talking and intent on violence.
